Come as you are. Bring all of it. And maybe some snacks.
You don’t have to know how to pose. You don’t have to nail the perfect smile. And your kids definitely don’t have to cooperate. Honestly, that’s probably when the good stuff happens. I’ll guide you when you need it. We’ll walk, move, laugh, play, talk, and just let things unfold naturally.
I’m not interested in making your life look perfect. Life is way more beautifully complex than that. I want to preserve the things that are easy to overlook now but somehow become the things you treasure most later. Because someday, those little moments become the big ones.
So forget about performing for the camera. Come ready to be yourselves, however that looks that day.

the process. from the first hello to the photographs you'll keep forever.

01 — inquire.
Fill out the contact form and tell me a little about what you're dreaming up. I'll be in touch with availability, session details, and next steps.
02 — plan.
We'll choose a location, date, and session that feels right for you. Your session is officially booked with a signed agreement and retainer. Your date isn't reserved until both are received.
03 — show up.
No perfect outfits, forced smiles, or knowing what to do in front of a camera required. I’ll guide you when you need it and let you be yourselves the rest of the time.
04 — relive it.
I’ll carefully select and edit the images that tell your story best. Your photographs will arrive in a private online gallery, ready to download, share, print, and keep.

the FAQs. a few things you might be wondering.

How long until we receive our gallery?
Your final gallery will be delivered within 14 days of your session. I'll make sure you know exactly what to expect when we book.
Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?
Yes! Your images are delivered as high-resolution digital files through an online gallery, so you can easily download, share, and print your favorites.
I also offer professional prints and albums for those who want to turn their photographs into something tangible and lasting. I believe your photographs deserve to live somewhere other than just your camera roll.
What if we need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens. Just let me know as soon as you can, and I'll do my best to work with you on a new date. Please note that rescheduling, cancellations, and no-shows may be subject to the policies outlined in your booking agreement. Weather-related rescheduling is always handled separately.
What should we wear?
Whatever feels like you. I'll help with outfit guidance before your session, including colors, textures, and coordinating without making everyone look like they're wearing a uniform.
How do we choose a location?
We can choose somewhere meaningful to you, somewhere beautiful, or somewhere completely new. I’m happy to help find a location that fits the feeling you want for your photographs.
Do you travel?
Sessions throughout Connecticut and Rhode Island are welcome. Travel fees may apply for locations outside my usual service area. Have a place in mind? Let's talk.
What if we're awkward in front of the camera?
Honestly? Most people are. You don't need to know how to pose, where to put your hands, or how to “look natural.” I'll give you direction and prompts that give you something to actually do, rather than asking you to stare at the camera and smile.
What if my child is shy, cranky, or uncooperative?
When it comes to kids, my pediatric occupational therapy background comes in handy. I understand building rapport, sensory needs, and personality differences. I’m comfortable following their lead, giving them time and space, and working with the wiggles, big feelings, shyness, or lack of interest. No pressure, no perfect behavior required.
What do you want people to feel when they look at their photographs?
I want them to feel like they can step back into that moment for a second. Not just remember what everyone was wearing or where they were standing, but remember who they were, who they loved, and how that season of life felt.
Take a look around at the moments I have had the honor of capturing. I hope you find the kind of photographs that make you pause, feel something, and imagine your own story here.
